lp identification

hey guys i just bought an lp used from a local shop and i really have no idea what model it is. my closest guess is an lp junior special plus but i haven't seen any that really match the finish style. i would appreciate any insight

If it has a flat, uncarved top, it is the latest incarnation of the special with humbuckers. I think they usually come with cream plastic, but it wouldn't have been hard to change it. There is a serial number decoder on the site somewhere, find it and plug in your serial number, it out to tell you something. You can find the year yourself by the 1st and 5th didgit in your serial number.

send the serial number to Gibson, they will usually reply with the info they have on your guitar.
