Google his name and you will find his myspace, and pictures of his les paul. It looks fine to me, i'm not sure what the problem is. Though I admit this is the first time I noticed the new electronics behind that backplate, and I have just one thing to say.

It's unfortunate your guitar is such a piece of shit!!! There are evidently 2 things going on here. Either you're telling the real story or you're completely full of shit!!!! If you are telling the real story then Gibson can fix the blems or you should be able to return it to the dealer you bought it from and exchange it for one you like unless it's used, in which case your stuck with it unless the seller/dealer gave you their own warranty. If you don't like other peoples suggestions/comments then don't post and leave yourself open to other people's opinions. Nobody is any better than you. As for myself, I don't live for the approval or disapproval of anyone else in this world. What I do is my fucking business and no one has the right to say otherwise.
The same goes for you. If you are merely another troll, sitting and laughing at how stupid people are for taking this seriously, then fuck off and get a life!! If you are being real however, then stick around and read, ask questions and let those of us who have been around many of the same issues at least attempt to help. There are some good hearted souls here, and they would be glad to help in whatever way they are able. Good luck to you.

among new LP standards there are really dogs. Guys I dont like them new std at all!
So I wdn't buy most of them. Dot.
But anybody who payed that lot money deserves to have a good quality!
Gibson and so every company else is ripping off when they sell a bad (finished) guitar. DOT. Mess can happen.
And gibson sure wd take the chance to correct it. You have a warranty bring it back.
Simply put it on the guitar shops counter and get yr money back or a new one which is correct and you happy with. I did once reject a guitar which I was not satisfied and was ordered for me. noway I d never be ok with it. Even a discount was not my deal (was not gibson btw). I d rather payed full price for complete good feeling.

I ve forgot to say that the replacement of this named guitar was 100% and I am still happy with it after 3 years!!!
I was a german product (as me).

And I am NOT related to anybody here as far as I know (cannot ask my parents they dont live anymore).
