I like their pics! Well they used to have pics of scantly clad females(or nude) with some of their guitars.

Re: vintage vault guitars?

Travis is a GREAT guy, with beautiful guitars and at the best prices *I* have found.
In fact, both my my Historics came from Travis!

It's a win, win situation!

Dude--shipping is ALWAYS slower than you want.

Be patient...it'll be worth it when you crack that case open...

Re: vintage vault guitars?

Interesting Question. I have sent them 3 e mails in the last 10 days inquiring about a guitar and have yet to get a reply. Do they ever reply to their e mails?

Re: vintage vault guitars?

hi guys, i've bought a gibson at vintage vault guitars 3 weeks ago, everything was fine, Travis was very nice, but there is just a little problem, i'm still waiting for my guitar. I live in europe and i know that i have to be patient, but Travis did not give me any code to have information on the usps website. I feel a bit nervous cause it's the first time i buy a guitar on the web. Now Travis doesn't answer when i send a message....
If someone can tell me something good.....
thanks

Re: vintage vault guitars?

The USPS website is hopeless, so you're not really missing out. I've been in a similar position to you when buying guitars from the US and the trick is just to be patient. USPS will often sit on a parcel for weeks before sending it, as they need to maximise the use of a aircraft hold space to make a profit. My last guitar from the US went out via priority mail international, and took 5 weeks to arrive rather than the 6-10 days advertised. It's a really worrying thing, but very little genuinely gets lost in the post.

I'd take a guess that Travis is as worried as you. The last thing you'd want to do is make him phone USPS customer service - they are not in the slightest helpful. Give him a break, the shipping thing is just slow from the US. If you want great shipping, try Japan!

I've heard of these guys but I don't know how they are to deal with. They have some tasty guitars though. Great place to know if you come into some money.

You can visit the UPS website, dig around, there's an 800 # noted
"somewhere" and you can call them. I've done it before, just dont
remember which link you need to open.

good luck!

Re: vintage vault guitars?

Tracking number is in the first pick of the goods or actual shipment to give?
Why Travis never gave me the tracking number? And do not respond to my e-mail it? Are there forums Travis know or are familiar with the friend?
Any info,or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.~~~~~~
Thanks!
