Is this true?
I heard that Gibsons Studio Premium Plus LPs are being discontinued. The reason given,,,,,, because of costly increases in flame maple. Has anyone else heard this? Does anyone know if this is true? I know the Standard Faded LPs are being discontinued, I wonder if it could be for the same alleged reason? Any info appreciated.

Re: Is this true?
Nobody buys them.
Future collectible. (Sits back and watched as the scramble to buy them starts.) LOL

Re: Is this true?
nah, flamed maple is not more expensive for gibson - it's more expensive for the consumer.
they discontinued it because not many of them were sold. I think they were one of the nicer USA gibsons. |
