It actually makes a lot of sense... To me, single coils are unbeatable in the neck position, but they're really thin and twangy in the bridge. Looks like it would be the best of both worlds.

I love it, smooth P90 & a Zebra busrtbucker 3 - they sound SO damn good & it has the killswitch, which is pretty cool to play with

Thanks a million everyone, I am REALLY excited, been playing it quite a bit today, haha, I was in the store as it opened, (I heard last night that they got it in) and played it in the store for 45 mins waiting for the sales guy (he was working on a PA system with another customer, and I wanted the guitar guy... ) traded the Custom Shop Epi in, (they gave me almost what I was asking for it on the street!!!) and walked out 15 mins later with the BFG!!!

Congrats on that! I hope you're able to enjoy that guitar for many years to come!

I'd love to get a BFG sometime. I've played several and I loved the really organic feel they had with the faded finish and chunky neck.

Did you trade in your Lynrd Skynrd Epi Goldtop for it? If so ..... that's too bad.

But if you're happy with the new LP it's a big win!

Every dual pickup Les Paul has a kill switch. Roll the volume off of one. There's your kill switch.

ive been using mine for that, but lately the switch has been getting really loose and I have to tighten it ever minute

Thanks Cooop!! Saved my Lynyrd Skynyrd Epi, I traded in that Transblack Custom that I had. Wasn't a big fan of the 60s neck on it, and I banged my finger on that middle pup for the last time...hahaha

Seriously though, I've always liked the BFG, almost wish I had kept one of my refinished ones.

I personally love the P-90 neck \HB bridge combination - I've done it to all of my guitars (or put a coil splitter in neck HB).

I am really digging it, it is my first P90 guitar.... and I love it!!!!

I honestly don't even know if I will do the wiring on it, I love the tones out of it stone stock...
