Questions about the pete townshend les paul deluxe

have any of you guys ever played one? any idea on what invoice is on this guitar? or what a good deal on this guitar would be? ...i really want the sunburst one!!

What kind of info do you want? Specs?

Which one? The one in sunburst (#9), Goldtop (#3) or wine red (#1)?

You can find specs on all of them here:

#1 Wine Red

#9 Sunburst

#3 Goldtop

Pete also has two different SG signatures.

no not specs...more like a review if someone has played one....and does anyone know what the invoice price is??? or what a good deal should be?

It's hard to predict the price, as it varies a lot. I've seen everything from $1600, to over $4000.

where did you see one for $1,600? i never see them on ebay...when did gibson release them? is it still available for order thru an authorized dealer direct from gibson?

I saw one for $1600 a couple of years ago.. second hand. I didn't dare to buy it, because I thought it must have been a scam for that price.

I guess you could order them trough an authorized dealer, but why buy a signature model, why don't buy the real thing? :

found a brand new one in the store...has both the #9 cherry busrt, and the #3 goldtop...out the door for $3,900 brand new...is this a good deal? think its a good inverstment?

i think i like the burst...do you guys agree?
