Studio Lite...

Only joking...they don't still make them do they? Especially not 3 pickup active one.

The Sonex range was piss poor as well.

Discontinued lines are not always a bad thing!

I'm happy they arre thinning the herd a bit. Now if Fender would just do the same.
Still, I voted that I'd have liked the Guitar of the week to have remained. It gave them a venue for experimentation and a few real nice pieces resulted. A lot of boring ones did as well so Gibson could have instituted a Guitar 'o' The Month and still been fine in my book.

I liked the look of the Voodoo a lot, and the unique tone for a Paul... Also the snakeskin case was badass... So I'm gonna go with that.

I have a Sonex and the pickups are SMOKIN' in it. The guitar itself is way too heavy, but it plays really well and sounds good. I'm glad its discontinued. They fetch a decent amount on Ebay on occassion for what they are, and I'll have it until the day I die *was my first guitar*.

I want the SG and Les Paul Elite back. They are sort of like custom classics - less binding and such but they have the full ebony fretboard with block inlays, but a typical crown inlay of standard SG's.

I voted for the Godness because I forgot about the Black GT.
The finish on that was bitchen. GC still has them posted on
there on-line, Gibson Custom site. Might still be a few left in stock.

My shop told me that they were going to be discontinued - I've also thought about getting one in Tobacco...

i like the Goddess. i have an ebony one, and i was hoping to save up and get a violet burst. i wonder if anyone would want to get rid of theirs?

does being discontinued mean that those guitars will go up in value?

If the demand is good and the product scarce then yep the value should rise...

I liked the Goddess Les Pauls as well. Good weight, and good tone. I saw a Violet Burst here in Calgary recently.. Should still be a few in shops around!
