The Other Day at Guitar Center...

I played a Gibson Les Paul Custom in ebony (already have one, but played it anyway), which was fantastic. $3400. I also played the Gibson Custom Axcess Paul which was good but did not blow me away. Also $3400. Then I saw this hanging up on one of the top racks: Buy Gibson Custom Custom Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Les Paul Goldtop Electric Guitar | Solid Body Electric Guitars | Musician's Friend IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! I wasn't allowed to play it though, only people who were actually thinking of buying it could play it. Though MF lists it as $7,000, if I'm correct, my GC lists it as $5,000! A bargain, but still too expensive. Anybody have any additional info on this guitar so I can get more GAS for this baby ?

I'll give you some gas to burn the ugly thing with.

I keed. Agreed, there many things I'd spend 5 grand on before that. Anything actually. Except for that blue '57 someone posted. That's one of the ugliest things I've ever seen..

That's funny some of the GC's I've been to have had their most expensive LPs on stands on the floor..........to be played by whoever picks it up.
