Want to change Pots and Caps"Suggestions"

I have a 1976 Custom Tobacco Sunburst.Want to change the pots and caps or maybe just the pots or maybe,I dont know...I just broke one of the pots and need some input. The pot is still good i just was spreading one out so the new knob would be snug and SNAP too much pressure. These are the originals i suspect so should i change the one or convert to another setup Helppppppp!!!!Heres a pic of the guitar.

Re: Want to change Pots and Caps"Suggestions"

You're in luck...RS Guitarworks is have a 30% off sale on their Superpot volume pots this weekend.

Welcome to RS Guitarworks | Winchester, KY - Home

Give them a call--ask for Billy (he's a member here at MLP), and tell him what you are doing. He'll ask some questions, then give you a recommendation.

RS has caps as well, or you can contact Jonesy, our own "Capacitor Ambassador."

Thanks for the heads up, BB.. I've been considering replacing the pots on my custom..

do you know anything about their "pre-wired" kits? Any negatives to worry about, considering it's pre-wired? I play modern rock, so I'd assume the "modern" kit would suffice me more than the vintage kit [there is no LP kit listed under vintage anyway]..

was looking at this one.. RS Guitarworks Online Store

edit: I see the sale is only on the superpots, but I am still considering the prewired kits..
