1974 Les Paul Deluxe

Just in case anyone might be looking for one of these.

Played one at a music store her in Des Moines Iowa. It had a three piece neck, and the body iteself almost looked three piece (2 mahogony and the plain maple top). Plain top, pretty typical colored burst. If anyone has been looking for one of these pm me I can give you the address. They want $1800for it but I bet they'd take less than that cash in hand.

PS: I'm not an employee of the store, I just like playing stuff when I make my visits. It played very nice. The frets were a little worn, but the action was extremely low. It was in tune, and really made my mouth water. It wasn't beat up. Had some belt checking on the back. Had one spot where the finish was rubbed off on the top maybe from a watch or something. It had some real mojo to it and great feel.

I know you want pictures I'm sure, but well that would seem kind of silly - taking pictures of a guitar at a store.

Re: 1974 Les Paul Deluxe

My brother used to have a '76 LP Deluxe. It had the mini-buckers of course, which I prefer. They sounded intensly sweet. Hey, I've been taking pics in stores for years. It definitely is best if you know the guys, which was the case with me...m

Go the P 90 route with em then, now far better than carving or cutting one up
