35th Anniversary Les Paul Pickups

Hey!

I recently purchased a 1989 35th anniversary les paul custom, and took out the pickups last night to see what I was working with. In all honesty, I know very little about late 80's and early 90's les pauls. I took out the pickups, and they were all Patent NO. pickups. From what I know, weren't guitars from '88 to 91 or somewhere around there equipped with Bill Lawrence pickups? Could these be replacements? All of the solders in the cavity were clean and the wiring was orderly. I'm hoping you guys might know any information that could help me become a little more knowledgeable about this guitar.

Oh, and if you guys want, I can post some pictures soon! I just haven't put her down since yesterday
