New LP Studio in Pelham Blue....a lefty.
![]() I just got back home with a new Les Paul Studio in Pelham Blue. I had a choice between this one and a beautiful Radiant Red lefty LP Studio. It wasn't an easy decision, but the blue was hard to deny. Both guitars were fairly light in weight (lighter than my Traditional Mahogany Satin LP). Each guitar looked as good as I was hoping it would. Already having a few red guitars probably worked against the red LP. And as good as the red looked, I just couldn't resist the pelham blue. Thanks to Alto Music in Wappingers Falls, NY for ordering both of those beautiful guitars and allowing me to choose one. Something us lefties rarely get to experience. ![]() ![]()

Haha, sorry.. Gotta say this, but.. Left handed LP's just look so weird to me..
But it's a Gibby LP, so it's great not matter what. Enjoy!

Re: New LP Studio in Pelham Blue....a lefty.
When I first saw pictures of Pelham Blue Studios, I actually preferred black plastics, but the cream has definitely won me over.
The guitar plays beautifully. I like the pickups a lot. It is the lightest weight of my Les Pauls. Very comfortable to play.

Re: New LP Studio in Pelham Blue....a lefty.
What a chameleon this color guitar is?!? Pelham Blue really changes depending on the light source. Very cool.
Sounds great through my VOX AC15C1 and my Mini Rectifier.

Re: New LP Studio in Pelham Blue....a lefty.
I'm sure the red looked nice as well. But I'm a fan of Pelham Blue so the choice would have been easy, Pelham Blue all day long
Congrats!Rudy |

Re: New LP Studio in Pelham Blue....a lefty.
I'm a lefty and I think lefty guitars look weird, especially in a band. But it's only because there are always a couple of righty players with their guitar necks pointing in the other direction. A band with three lefty players would look less weird, I guess. But I've never seen one.
Sorry for going slightly OT. I've drooled over Elliott Easton's signature pelham blue SG many times. This looks great too. Congrats. |

Re: New LP Studio in Pelham Blue....a lefty.
![]() A flash picture of my two most recent Les Pauls in front of myMini Rectifier and VOX AC15C1. The Pelham Blue looks quite a bit different with the flash, than with a normal light source. The Pelham Blue likes natural light much better, while the Vintage Sunburst doesn't mind flash at all.

Re: New LP Studio in Pelham Blue....a lefty.
Congrats nice guitar. It's good to see Gibson is producing more guitars for the left handed players.
