Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
I'll know when I find her! This isn't something that I could choose based on looks alone... but if I had to, it'd be one of those Bursts that Bobbo posted!

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
Well,
Wine Red LP Custom, 3 pickups, possibly Bigsby, with ABR-1 bridge. Solid. Not that Gibson ever made one like that. |

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
Mine would probably be another custom:
Top side chambered with an f-hole. 57 classic & 57 classic plus set. Piezo. Flatwound 11 gauge strings. That would be my ultimate guitar I think :P |

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
I have a dream...I have a dream that one day, I will be able to afford a luthier to make me a Les Paul exactly how I want it...I have a dream of a LP custom body and binding, finish going from blue on the inside to black w/ an AAA flame, chrome hardware w/ metal tulip tuners, my signature on the TRC, ebony fretboard, black speed knobs, WB firewaters (or equivalent), the access cutaway, push/pull pots, and a pick-guard made out of black abalone picks...I have a dream.
When you're at BK, you can have it your way

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
Dream guitars that cost as much as mortgages aside, I think that I've acquired my two dream guitars in the 6 months since I last posted in this thread... The '69 takes first place, with my working R8 as the ideal player's guitar, and is one that I'm not afraid to mistreat and use hard.

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
Thanks! Luck was on my side for once!!
My realistic "dream" guitar would probably be a piece of 50's wood - either a Junior/Special or a GT. Neither of those are coming any time soon, though! |

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
One of the many Firebirds Allen Collins used, considering he had quite a few

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
i'd love to own a real '59 burst but unless i have a relative who has one stashed somewhere in their attic i know it would never happen. to be able to play or at least hold a real 59 burst would be more realistic of a dream so for now i'd settle for a killer R9.

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
Of course, I'd NEED to change the tuners...
