Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
I'd like a 50's neck gold top with P90's to replace one I sold in College (to finance a clutch for my MG). Ive had several LP's since then but all HB, and the GT was the one 'girl' I still miss.
I think I may up buying a recent Deluxe within the next few months and having P90's installed. The Gold with all that creme will always say 'Les Paul' to me. 'Bursts are great, and I've got a couple, but there's a big hole in my heart where that GT belongs, Beyond that, I think I'd LOVE one of the new ES339's...size of an LP with that honkin' lightweight body..in cherry, of course. |

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
I recently sold the "herd" to finance an R9 and was still left with a touch of buyers remorse. I took my time and auditioned multiple guitars before choosing, but, in my quest for the "one", I am still searching. So, I am having one built to compare to the R9. Only one will stay and the other will be sent to Davey Jones's locker...

Re: What is your Dream Guitar ???
I would opt for an original '56 GT, '54 Custom or late '58/early '59 "Burst....
HALLELUJAH!! But then again, the 2007 VOS Historic version of either guitar would be great too! I got myself a 2007 production 1958 VOS flametop, and it just ROCKS. Definately the best sounding, best looking and best playing guitar I ever layed my hands on. I also got to try the '56 GT and the '54 Custom and they were all incredible players.... HALLELUJAH
