i ant got it to hand, its on ebay thinking of buying. I askd the guy and he said its a brown sunburst which doesnt help much!

I'd say that's Honeyburst. Looks just like this one on Gibson's page.

There are rather dark Honeys. It's a horrible pic, but I think it's honeyburst.

This is my '03. Pretty dark for a honey.

honeyburst. I think its thick on the brown but a honeyburst. Possibly a tobacco burst. Has that look of a Norlin era finish.

id say its way too light for a tobacco burst. God its doin my head in not knowing. Its nice looking all the same tho!

dont trust pictures man. to me it looks like Vintage Sunburst, but it could just be a honey burst that looks funny through the camera. get him to look into the neck pickup cavity for you. gibson finishes also vary. mine is apparently a "Light Burst" but it looks more like a browner Iced Tea.

Am I on the biscuit? No, are you? I was stating my opinion just like everyone else in here. I think it's a fireburst because of the tri-colors ..black to red to yellow/gold. All 3 of these guitars are fireburst too. I could be wrong. Let me know if I am. I'll stand corrected.

Those look nothing like the pic.

The pic's really bad.
If you start from the pups and work out, you can
see the start of a pretty light red, then it geeks out
with the squares, looks bloody-purple around the outside edge?
dont think you'll ever get a square answer off that pic.

well i was the highest bidder but didnt meet the reserve! Frickin gutted! I swear some guys over here really put some ridiculous reserve/start bid/buy it now prices! Seems like they want exactly wat they paid brand new 7 years ago. Oh well the quest for a honeyburst plain classic goes on!

You guys are going to think I'm crazy, but I believe that finish is called "Sienna Burst". I remember seeing a picture of a LP in that color before; I'm 80% sure that is what its called.
