Re: what is your favorite setup.

1990 Standard > Gibson JCM 50w Lead (only about thirty years old).
Gigging (which I haven't for many moons) as above.

At home I also plug a Digitech Legend 21 FX rack into the amp's FX loop.
I've also wired this through the desk but the naked sound is much better.
Just crank it up and let fly.

aaaah the Fender deluxe, i want one, but if there is one thing i'd rather buy a vintage one, and don't have the vintage bank account for it
probably one of the best amps ever!
My Junior Lite, or Junior through the "fusebreaker" JTM45 combo
and possibly a 6 band eq, or fatboost 3 or ocd, think i got the ocd here.
had the amp modded with an on board attenuator so i wouldn't have to use pedals.

Re: what is your favorite setup.

My "gigs" consist of simple backyard parties, playing blues and classic rock....thus the simplicity of it all, and it works for me:

Les Paul, MXR Classic Overdrive, Modified Epiphone Valve Junior. That's it.

Re: what is your favorite setup.

Mine changes around a little bit but basically my Jacksons and Les Pauls into a Fulltone OCD then into a Marshall Randy Rhoads half stack with Faustine Phantom Attenuator. Other pedals on the board are Retro-Sonic stuff plus either a Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah or MXR/CAE wah.

R9, R6, or Classic Antique through Fender Twin Reverb or Deluxe Reverb. Nothing in between but a volume pedal.

Re: what is your favorite setup.

I'm glad to see some Fender love here. After I found out Thunder's and Jones's heavy tone came from Twins, I had to get in on the action.

LP Custom + Axe-FX II + Marshall JCM2000 TSL100

I've almost saved up enough $ for the Axe-FX.
