It looks amazing. But is it worth so much? If you get this guitar you play with it?? I mean, guitars are made for musicians, or maybe I'm wrong

It just isn't worth that much. Limited Edition yes, but there were some factory seconds released too. Might be one of those, who knows.

FWIW the sunburst ones are the most common, it's the black and wine reds which are the rarest.

Ive seen so many with a flame top already that I dont even believe there are only 100 made.

Anyway, this thing has been up for sale for ages for this ridiculous price.

I have always seen them for $3k to $5k with a few sensible people selling them for $2k. They were only $1200 new, which we considered a major rip at the time. We all wanted one, but I never knew anyone personally who bought one? And I never saw anyone play a gig with one.

I have seen about 3, supposedly never opened or used. One was an employee's model that was stored in a closet, but never played. Marked as a 2nd.

Possibly the most overpriced (in relation to real value) guitar I have ever seen. Someone would have to be absolutely stupid to drop that amount on it. And I agree that he really is stretching the definition of "new old stock" there.

I have an NOS 1981 Gibson Sonex, with all the stickers on it I would let go for $80,000. It was found in the back room of a music store in Florida, all case candy. Includes chainsaw case, amp not inclued. Trades, to includes houses, motorcycles, yachts and wifes welcome. House prefered.

Thank you. I was having a little déjà vu reading that long-winded preamble. I was wondering if he had sold it's twin a year or so ago.

I think you guys missed it, the guitar is only 2.500 quid. The belt buckle is £97.500.

For that kind of money, you could buy J Giels refin-neck-repair-beater '59 Burst...

I'd love to pick up almost any Norlin and true NOS would be even more interesting, but I'd have to be drinking pretty intensely to get that far separated from my common sense.

Yeah, I would rather spend $150,000 on one of those $30,000 converted bursts than this guitar, even though you could get a real burst for 150k. I mean, the thing might be mint, but would not be considered new, unless it was at guitar center.
