Great photo. Love how the LOXX are basically invisible too.

Love it! Always wondered though, how do you upgrade electronics on these things? Since these don't have control covers

Very carefully and with great patience! Obviously, one needs to use an existing hole - can you guess which one?....

I wouldn't show off the Ivory nut too much if I were you - the DFG would love to find out where you got that!

If it's old stock from before ivory was banned, isn't that legal?

Re: Les Paul Supreme Gallery

Here is my 2007 Supreme from my phone camera. I will take a few more pictures and post them with a better camera and lighting. The Quilting is amazing; it shimmers as you tilt the guitar under a light. I love it and it sound great too.

I mean why not? It's not like someone's machine gunning a live elephant for it, so long as its existing stock why not.

I really like that Desert Burst one.
I saw a Root Beer one before that was just stunning, didn't get to play it though.

Damn these babies are BEAUTIFUL!!!

All Gibson Les Pauls should look as good as these.

One day, perhaps I'll be able to afford one.

Re: Les Paul Supreme Gallery

Seeing the backs on this model got me thinking. Do Supreme's have two maple caps, one on the top and another for the back? And should I assume there is chambered mahogany in between?
Kind of a pancake body, don't you think? This had never occurred to me before. The Supreme is the fanciest Gibson USA LP correct? (The Ultima being the fanciest LP from Gibson Custom Shop)

Not pancake, but maple top and back. It's a thick guitar, and heavy as well.
