Traditional Pics
I removed the pickguard for the first time since owning this guitar. I took some pics and decided to post them for the hell of it. Don't worry, I won't be doing a pickguard vs. no pickguard poll.

Re: Traditional Pics
Beautiful guitar! I would leave the guard on for vintage tone personally though!

Re: Traditional Pics
Very nice top on that. I'd keep the PU on as well. It's not like there'd be a shortage of flame with that little covered up.

Re: Traditional Pics
Looks good. Always liked HB and this one has a nice top. I say with the pickguard but looks nice either way.
Take any shots showing the sides a little bit by any chance? |

Re: Traditional Pics
I can't tell the difference in tone,if any,on my goldtop,if any.And I,ve recorded it to try and tell.I had to remove/replace the guard on mine,used NOS replacement guard.looks awful.Sat in a plastic bag for 60 years,no nicotene,sunlight,sweat,etc.
