Lizard Spit Fretboard Conditioner

Disclaimer - I do not work for this company and have absolutley no ties to it.

I recently got a Std Faded and when it came I was amazed at how well it played and two things stood out to me. One, the rosewood on the fretboard appeared to be really well hydrated. I have always used lemon-oil and although it cleans well, after it dried the fretboard looked pretty much the same...kinda dry. Second, the frets felt really really smooth. Absolutely no friction or drag could be felt. I played the guitar on two shows and after some string changes I noticed the fretboard was starting to look more like my other guitars (not necessarily bad mind you) and the frets, although still polished and feeling good, were not quite as smooth.
So I emailed the seller to ask him about it. He told me he used Lizard Spit Freboard Conditioner and swears by it.
Well I ordered a bottle from GC online and used it on my new GT Traditional during its first string change. Result.....that same look and feel the Faded had when I got it.
I am now a believer. I don't know what this stuff does to the fretwire, but I am telling you its awesome. The Traditional had a great fret job out of the box and this stuff just takes it to another level. Through the entire gig last night even with sweating all over the guitar it remained playing absolutely awesome the whole time.

BUY IT NOW!

On another note...maybe worth a separate thread, I also polished the GT with Virtuoso before the show. It gave it a really nice smooth feel and it also held up the whole show. Where sometimes on LPs in the past I would feel my sticky sweaty arm starting to get tacky when hitting the body, this stuff kept the surface feeling great and avoiding that. I stand by this stuff too!
