LPS 89 : Dressed or Naked
Guys I understand it has been asked countless times in here. But I think the never ending question depends on the top. So, wanted to ask if this particular re-finished top looks better with PG on or naked. Your thoughts? Highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: LPS 89 : Dressed or Naked
On if it already has the holes, I could never bring myself to take a drill to an LP like that

Re: LPS 89 : Dressed or Naked
I'd leave the pickguard on (never been a fan of the no PG look except for certain models/finishes, so maybe I'm biased) but I'd take off the pickup covers.
Not totally naked, but more like topless; or bottomless, depending on your preferences... |

Re: LPS 89 : Dressed or Naked
whichever you prefer.
i think it looks better off. but... i actually use the pick guard to help me guide the pick. when i play LP's without guards sometimes i strike too far under the strings on upstrokes and knock the pick out of my hand. so it's kind of a guide for me, it actually has a function. for me, ymmv. damn nice guitar.
