Happy happy NGD for me!, (Standard Faded content)
So happy to be back in the Les Paul camp again! A week or so ago I traded my Nash tele for a Standard Faded in Honeyburst, really liking the 50s neck btw.
Next up is a good rub in with some Virtuoso cleaner and polish. I also have a calibrated set of "Mules" in aged nickel coming from the good folks at Bareknuckle Pickups. ![]() The standard faded seems to be a real bargain when considering the sound, playability and the looks. A pretty nice top for a "cheap" series Les Paul. ![]() I know a NGD thread is useless without pics so here they come! ![]()

Thanks for the compliments! I got it second hand, traded my Nash t-52 for it here in Finland.

Happy NGD!!!
I got one of the recent "traditional" fadeds that came out for a shop in Canada. Great guitars! Yours along with the others made between 05-09 had better finishes. Check this thread where we collected some info on the fadeds to read how much appreciated these guitars are. The 2011 LP Traditional (Standard?) Faded Mega-Thread Great purchase, well done! All the best |

Great looking flame/grain on that top. Had a Faded Standard a while back - the '50s neck and faded finish make for a very nice playing experience.
