I've been playing this 81' Standard faithfully for about 22 years. Many have come and gone, many have stayed....this one is my "go to" guitar. I will take it to the grave! I own a pretty nice collection of somewhere around 45 guitars. This is the one that ALWAYS goes to the gig, along with a few spares!

Does video count? My son (the drummer) is in a build a band program and their guitar player was away at boy scout camp a few weeks ago, so I filled in for him. I had one practice with them the day before going on stage....But it was a ton of fun!

2011 Songs for Kids in Atlanta.Note: not my Les Paul, but a nice axe
The premise of Songs for Kids is 500 songs by 500 bands in 10 nights. Thats right, 50 songs/bands per night. You are assigned a song based on that year's theme. Bands dont bring any gear, just show up and play. This year they had a goodsell and this les paul.

Also,we were involved in the worlds longest concert last year. yes-I am a world record holder. It's an Epi, but still a LP. This song is an original of ours called Sideways.

i want you guys to keep in mind that this was my first show, i'm not normally a singer (that's why it sounds terrible, hahaha), and i'm not that great at guitar.

that being said, my band (just me and the drummer) played our first gig at a local open mic night hosted by my boss's band last sunday and one of the guitarists from his band sat in with us on bass, which i thought was pretty cool of him

Ha! Too true! I am proud to say that yesterday I was able to easily fit into an old pair of 36 pants. I'm getting there, sigh... I'm getting there.
