Fake, no doubt. Slotted bridge posts, incorrect, deeply stamped serial number in giant font, wrong knob location, many other obvious (to me) blunders.

To be fair, the seller doesn't say it's a Gibson. It actually says Epiphone.

I know thats what got me totally confused. gibson on the headstock and he says its an epiphone. which is it? or is it neither?

FAKE ! It doesn't matter what the seller says, the guitar in the pictures is counterfeit.

I don't think it's either Gibson or Epi. '...and really looks the part' = it's a good fake?
