My '99 Classic.

All this talk about it looking like a Slash VOS inspired me to dig it out, clean her up, and take some pics.

I hadn't played it at all in probably four years, so it needed strings, truss rod adjustment, and action adjustment. I gave her a little spin, and I forgot how good it is! I don't like skinny necks anymore, but I might put her back into regular rotation.

Re: My '99 Classic.

Wow!!! I wish I had so many LP's I could put one away for years without playing it...
(I would probably play it anyway)

That guitar is too pretty to keep hidden away!

I've heard of people fading them in the sun. Has anybody tried that with any success?

Here's a shot of my ugly ass inlays....

The rest of the guitar is so killer, it's a shame the inlays are so bad...

Great looking guitar. I love the plain tops, here's my most recent addition to the family, an '08 Honeyburst Classic.

Nine. I could never sell it, because it was the first guitar I got after selling everything when times got tough. Now I never sell anything. It's getting a bit ridiculous, I suppose, because sometimes it's hard to figure out what to play. Not to mention keeping strings on them...

I wish I had never sold any of my guitars, Bole. I'm with you all the way, even if I had a hundred I would regret selling that one guitar. Y'know?

That's what I do. Since my Carvin has just been completed (My Carvin Bolt Build), it is going to be my main guitar for a while. Last night I decided that I would follow this schedule:

Sunday - Carvin
Monday - Gibson
Tuesday - Carvin
Wednesday - Acoustic
Thursday - Carvin
Friday - Gibson
Saturday - Carvin

This will give my Gibson a little break. It will also help me play acoustic more. It's so pleasant and peaceful. I used to go quite a while without playing my acoustic guitar so now I want to play it all of Wednesday and a few other days as well (though not as much). I don't know many songs on acoustic, so it will be a learning experience as well.

Re: My '99 Classic.

Good man!!!
Best thing to do with an acoustic is write your own tunes! hey what you could do is have a schedule to try and write 1 song a week using your guitars start off on a wed with your acoustic gettin the chords down n that and so on!!

In the second pic, the left piece (looking from the top) is almost identical! Just my inlays arn't snot green, they just look a tad bit aged.
