I've been doing lots of recording latley and i have a fairley decent mic but everytime i record the guitar sounds real thin no matter how i mic the amp... And It's not the amp because in reality my sound is thick and nice... Any help? Thanks SoloBen347. |

Re: Recording help?!
Where is mic placement? If you're close to the center of the speaker it's going to have more treble. A little off center of the speaker and you'll get a bassier sound.

Re: Recording help?!
I read somewhere that some studios use three mics ,one up close, one on the side, and one behind or in the back of the room!try it .it cant hurt and hope that it helps dont be afraid to experiment!good luck!
