OPINIONS PLEASE!!! Guitar Fell!!!!
So my Les Paul Jr. fell off the Futon onto the floor. ( Did not see it happen ) Big impact was at the bottom of the body where it got dented, So I don't think it landed neck first. I have found 2 hairline cracks that could just be paint. I am not sure if these were there already because I never paid attention. It still plays the same and the intonation is still correct. Did I luck out? Should I worry? Here are pictures...

It's fine.
The finish is gonna crack there anyway. Did we learn anything about guitar care from this little exercise? ![]() Epiphone, right?

Re: OPINIONS PLEASE!!! Guitar Fell!!!!
Looks just like the lacquer cracked, and odds are it was already like that from lacquer shrinkage and not from the impact. It would take one hell of an impact to knock that joint loose due to lots and lots of area glue coverage in that set neck joint. If it was hard enough to crack that joint loose, the guitar body would look much worse first. I wouldn't worry about it and chaulk it up for a care of where the guitar is placed lesson. Your good to go.

Re: OPINIONS PLEASE!!! Guitar Fell!!!!
I'm sorry to say but your guitar is absolutely ruined. Best thing to do now is get it
out of your house as quick as possible so you don't become depressed and do something stupid. Ship it to me and I will give it a proper burial...... |

Re: OPINIONS PLEASE!!! Guitar Fell!!!!
Fairly common area for finish cracking-I don't think its going to be an issue-that glue joint is really solid and strong in that area
