New Gig Last Night

Did a cool gig with my band last night. New venue for us, and I guess we must have hit a couple correct notes because we got a good amount of praise from staff and customers. We did 7 songs we just learned for the first time live and 6 out of 7 went great- one still has a couple stumbles but by next weeks gig we'll be tight on it.

The club was very hard to get a good sound in because of the shape of it, pillars all around and hard floors. By the second set we were finally dialed in good.

Once again my Lester delivered the best tone of the night!

I've had those gigs before evn did one that was L shaped midway, but carried on and with a few minor adjustments to the sound board were fine, glad you had a good time

Glad you had fun! I love playing a new venue... Always good to hear different reactions to your music.

Do you play covers/originals or both?
