how long should I wait?

I sent back a Classic Antique to a big dealer cause it had a bad grain(1"x4" football shape on top ) that I didnt like ,was told that he would get me a better finished 1 ,so far thats been 6 weeks so he still has my money,if your a big dealer shouldnt you be able to get 1 in a week or so ,my guess is that he got some on a promo deal(less $$) & the 1 he is tryin (hmmm)is more $$$ for him & he's tryin to wait me out hopin I back out
