Scroll down the page a bit to see it.
Also a '66 Strat.

Re: Wanna buy Robert Fripp's 1959 Les Paul?

It's sad when guys like Mr. Fripp have to sell off treasured instruments because of crummy record companies and their non-payment of royalties.

That LP looks awesome. I'd bet Mr. Frampton has laid hands on that as well.

The Strat is awesome...pre-1966, by the look of the headstock. He listed it as a '66 though...didn't they have the jumbo headstocks then?

Re: Wanna buy Robert Fripp's 1959 Les Paul?

wow steve marriots 59

I saw steve about a month before he died, lived within about 10 miles of where I did...

Anyone fancy getting in touch with them just to see how much theyre going for...??

In fact South East Essex seems to be a kinda magnet for musical talent past & present:

Steve Marriot
Rod Stewart
Peter Green
Danny Kirwan
Rolling Stones (kinda)
Ian Dury
Dr Feelgood
Eddie & the Hotrods
Suzi Quattro

Im sure theres loads more but Ive just had a total blank...

it says on wikki hes married to toyah wilcox - she does loads of work on uk tv and must still be receiving royalties herself - surely she could save the guitars...
