One of those days
Today’s task... to cure my Brinkman Professional Charcoal grill for the season!!
Brought her out, sprayed her down with cooking spray, and sparked her up! Maintain at 225 degrees for 2 hours, and then thrash her on up to 400 degrees for a final hour... allow to cool. During my three hour curing session I jacked my LPC into my Rivera and I have to say... I'm not sure if it was the weather, the scent of charcoal and wood burning in the backyard. But she just sang! Played like a dream, I even impressed myself, jostling her tones from fat and juicy, to bright and crisp! Harmonics right on spot and perfect feedback when I wanted it! Everything was just perfect even the hour I spent cleaning her off after my impromptu jam session. I got so wrapped up in the sounds I was making that I forgot to put anything on the grill to cook! Doh! That's OK I just ordered some Sushi up and tomorrow will start the barbeque! That's if I can keep my hands off my LPC that long... she looking pretty hot over on her stand all shiney and clean. What better than a barbeque weekend and My Gibson Les Paul Custom 68 historic! Life is good! Have a great holiday!

Re: One of those days
Yep mate. I'd break out the grill myself but I have friends coming over to jam. Its gonna be a choice of whether to grill or jam. I choose to jam. Have a great holiday!
