Les Paul Custom cleaning and setup [pics inside]

So I spent an evening alone with my lady last night- no, not the wife, the Les Paul Custom. The wife went to sleep early so I had some time to do a Virtuoso cleaning and polish, along with a nice setup. The virtuoso polish is great, got it as clean and smooth as can be with very little effort. I used a Dean Markley microfiber cloth to apply and buff with. The fretboard was conditioned with Lemon Oil, applied gently and buffed off after 5 minutes. I am trying some new strings out, the new Dunlop Nickel Plated steel strings. After stringing and stretching and tuning, I then tuned up a full step and it's been resting in the case while the strings stretch since last night. Tonight when I get home I'll tune back to normal and check intonation again.

I took a few pics to document, because i know you guitar porn hounds *love* pics..

Here's the tools and stuff I was using for the setup:

You can see the lemon oil glistening on the fretboard on this one:

And some pics of it all strung up and purdy looking:

I don't have words to express how cool those pics are. That is EXACTLY what a Custom should look like!

Nice n shiny indeed.

Is that a divot in your board between the 6th and 7th frets next to the 7th fret inlay?

Damn, I be afraid to play it now.

Beautiful job! It looks like a work of art--suits you to a tee.

Two-thumbs-up!

No, it's just an odd reflection. NO DIVOTS ON MY BOARD!

I must say, the Virtuoso polish and cleaner really helps the black finish remain more fingerprint-free as opposed to not using it.. its amazing, you can touch it and it leaves no marks.. lasts that way for a while too.

Very nice, you also take great pictures.
But, I noticed in your tool collection you were missing
the following:
#1: Duct tape
#2: A BIG hammer
#3: Bailing wire

I dont know how you work on anything without those 3 items?

Smooth as glass!!! Its nothing like the gratification you get after thorough cleaning and well done setup I bet she plays just as good as she looks! Awesome job!
