Hi there! this is my first post on this forum and I hope that you can help me with some trouble. I ordered a Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar in ebony with gold hardware for my birthday on July 26th and I did it online at the GC website. I was given a approximate delivery date for around August 31th (today). At the time I wasn't aware of the flood so when I became acquainted I e-mailed them and asked if it was possible that the delivery date might be delayed and they answered that they were expecting a new shipment in August 31th, but today I was checking the website and they changed the arrival date for September 30th. WTF? Does anybody know what is happening and when can I expect to receive my guitar?
Also, the guitar is going to be shipped to the store, as I don't live in the U.S. so it might become a problem for me to pick it up :/ Any help will be appreciated. |

Re: Gibson delivery delay
There are quite a few in the same boat as yourself including me. Been waiting 2 months for my Studio Deluxe.
Just a hint on future posts, check to see if there is already a thread open. This topic is in discussion, and it's better to keep them together in the same thread instead of 2 or 3 threads discussing the same topic. Hope your LP comes in soon, Gibson delivery time |

Re: Gibson delivery delay
Also not sure where you are from, I'm from Canada.
If you live in Canada, Fiftyone is shipping to us now via GC. There are other threads availble for shipping to other countries via courier companies used by members. Regards, Whitey PS: Forgot to menton the link I attached above is named the same as yours, as an example of multi threads. |

Re: Gibson delivery delay
Long & McQuade's supplier/owner Yorkville Sound, is now out of stock on many Gibsons. I just inquired about availability of a 57 & 58 Re-issue and was informed thye would have to come direct from Gibson somewhere between 3-6 months after ordering!

Re: Gibson delivery delay
I did researched a little bit before posting this thread, but the posts on that one were not what I was looking for, but thanks for your responses. The real problem here is that I can't wait from 3 to 6 months as I'm probably going to move my residence to Europe in the next month :/ , bad timing I guess.
Well if anyone hears anything, please feel free to post it here, and thanks again! |

Re: Gibson delivery delay
well apparently Slash got his unwanted, unordered Studio with no problem. don't really understand why yours wouldn't have come in on time...
