Pony,
What I do is, right click on the picture, go to properties, copy location.. come here, click on 'insert image' icon above. Take away the http:, and then paste what you copied into there, click ok and post. Give that a try

Re: The Official MLP Help !!! Thread ....
So ... how about a question about appropriate use?
Here' the thing. I have a gig coming up. Big deal, right? Well ... I haven't played full-time for a long time, and I think I can almost say I've never played a gig in my current home town. But - miracle of miracles - I've been grabbed for a showcase gig coming up. And I want to invite any MLP'ers who are locals to come down and check it out and say hello - and tell me where they are playing, so I can come hear them, too. But I'm new around here (this forum, I mean) and nobody knows me, really. I'd really like to meet some local LP fans and players. *sniff* it's kinda lonely, sometimes, being a les paul player ... and what with the pickup options and the hardware and the neck angle thing and the steel-stud mod and the whole capacitor argument and '50s-vs-modern, the pink plastic problems, why don't more people think about all these important things, nobody understands ... And it's a bit dodgy, the whole internet thing, though, isn't it ... those who seem to have connections on here, or in here, seem to be connected off-line already ... and there are the quiet ones, too ... I don't know. Any advice? PMs to those who seem like they'd be local? Not many identify their digs ... or their gigs, for that matter! If I did make a thread with an invitation to the gig, with an invitation to come down and say hello, where'd be the place to do it? Backstage? The Cellar? Somewhere else? I cannot be the only player here who's had this thought!

Re: The Official MLP Help !!! Thread ....
Hi, I've filled in my signature on my profile, but it doesn't get shown in my posts. I can see it in my profile under the 'about me' tab, but I can't figure out how to get it shown in my posts.
Any ideas of suggestions? Thanks!

Re: The Official MLP Help !!! Thread ....
Hmmm, just now I noticed the 'show your signature' checkbox in the reply box. Seems like this case is solved.
Is there a way to always add your signature and not having to check the box?

If you go to your user control panel, under 'Settings and Options' click 'Edit Options'. Then scroll down to Thread Display Options Under there you will find this: Visible Post Elements You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts. Show Signatures Show Avatars Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code) Check the show signature box and any others you need. Save changes. This way it will stay permanently on. This should fix your problem for you
