ive been having problems signing in with internet explorer lately, ill enter my username and password, it will give me the OK that ive signed in, but then it goes back to the page i was at before, or if im trying to post a reply it will tell me that im not signed in. Ive found that it doesent do it with google chorme, but i use a few other computers that don't have google chrome. Any ideas why it does this?

Sorry Riko ... My expertise is limited to matters about MLP ... When it comes to real computer stuff .. I'm not very handy !!!

That's the way MLP works ... If there's a link ... It opens it in an independent window ...

Yes links to other sites, but if I click on lets say the back stage a new window opens. It stopped doing it for whatever reason

Your PM preferences are in your OPTIONS area .... Go to the User CP and edit your options

I've noticed that some albums here show the thumbnail of the picture, while others just show the name of the photo (including my albums) which you have to click to see. How do you get your albums to show the thumbnails. I have looked in the user CP but have not been able to find any setting that will change this.

Do some members just have more "juice" than others?

There's a setting someplace in there that let's you designate which picture from your album is the featured one that people see .. I will do more research on it and post more shortly ...

Hey BOBBO, I know of this feature, but it does not work on my albums. Other members albums have both an "album cover" photo as well as a thumbnail image for each of their photos.

I investigated a bit and found out this ... I do not like MLP's album feature !!! All my pictures would have to be resized to be uploaded in the album , I'm not going to that trouble !!!! I loaded those other albums so long ago I forgot what procedure I used to get an album cover picture ... Just load them to the gallery to share with others !!!

I feel better now, couldn't get my pictures to upload no matter what. Thought I'd lost what little touch I had

If it starts again you should download a PopUp Blocker ( PopUp are those windows that randomly open when you click on a link )

I'm having the same problem, no thumbnail of album or pictures, only links. I have a lot of pics I would like to upload but it seems pointless if they can not be seen in the gallery. I have resized my pics and created an deleted my album and pics, tried using album and pic names with no spaces etc. I only have one pic in one album at the moment, that pic is the album cover but neither it or the album display a thumbnail.

After you create the album and load a few pictures ... Go into the edit pictures feature in the upper right corner ... You will see a circle that can be highlighted green next to a caption saying ... This is my album cover !!! Hope that helps !!!

Resize it on your computer using a picture editing program like Microsoft Picture It !!! It must be within size limits .. I believe it's 120 x 120 ........

Apparently there is not a 'fix' for this issue, nor any explanation on why some members are able to have thumbnails and some like us do not. Like you SouthpawGuy, I have quite a few pictures that I have resized to post here but it does not seem worth it if members have to click on each one just to see what the picture is. I have been digging up my collection of Rock magazines from the 70's and 80's (including: Rolling Stone, Guitar Player, Circus, Circus/Raves and Creem)looking for pictures of Les Pauls to scan, that I think some here would like to view. I might just post them to my flickr account and provide a link to them.
