It's on the top right of each post and when you roll over it it says "Link to this post" but I haven't found out how it works.

The Thank You button is the little Thumb's up icon in the lower right corner of the 1st post in each thread !!! Click that and the person is thanked for posting that thread !!!

On your Profile page click on statistics ... It gives you all sorts of detailed information in there like who thanked you and in which threads !!!

Here is a copy/paste of the info you find in the Stats area ...

if you click the permalink button the adress in your adressbar changes to the adress of that specific post. meaning that it will add #post<number> so that you can link to a certain post in a thread like this
