Mustangs....
Damn it, i wanna build one, but to my specs....1. 25 inch sacle neck 2. thick neck!!! 3. 2 humbuckers 4. kahler tremelo 5. bill edwards clamp nut 6. sprzel tuners..... 7. VVT cotrol config.... 8. coil tapping anyone think this would be awsome?

Try using a heaving string gauge. My Mustang plays every bit as well as any other guitar I own. I generally run 10's on my Strat and LP's - but I use 11's on my Mustang and Jaguar. The scale difference between a LP and a Strat is the same as the difference between a Mustang and a LP.
I love my Mustang, though. She's a '65 and gets plenty of gig action.
