Partsocaster facelift.

Well it is almost post 2000 so I thought I would do a facelift on my partsocaster. Heres the before shot, post 2000 will be the after and the parts.

She is gettin 2 humbuckers w/ chrome covers, cream pick gaurd chrome speed knobs, and a Tele style 3 way. Roman gave me these cool ass skull and crossbones strap locks. Oh yeah and new electronics.

My 2000th post is a revamped partsocastor. This is a mock up cause I do not have a 3 way or a neckplate. I unloaded the UV20 and put in a set of Firewaters. Gonna put her together tomarrow with an old switch and the scratched up neckplate that Romy donated. Videos to follow. I will post them with before and after. UV20 vs the Firewaters. same riffs. Same guitar 2 differant tones.

Like the new configuration, but I think I would have gone with another white Pearloid. Creme ain't bad, but not for me, that's just me tho!! Can't wait to hear it!!

I think it looks fantastic. I've been thinking of going with dual humbuckers in my shitocaster I've got lying around in parts. I always thought one of those vintage blue colors would look pretty awesome with chrome pickup covers... love the new pickguard too, looks very vintage.

Thanx. I am gonna build my own custom with the pearloid and The other gperloid gaurd. So I went with this for kinda a surfer classic vibe. But yes I loved the other just gonna deo a 50's theme reliuc for my next build, with the pearloid

I gotta get a neck plate for her and a 3 way switch. Lost neck plate and the way I have well it is a toggle switch.

The blue and the chrome are a perfect match. I bet those pickups are killer too!

the neck is wound 4k over the reg firewater, wanted to do something funky there. I don't use tone knobs often so she might get wire straight on threw for the neck pup at least. She looks almost classic vibe/shreader but hoping I can get a cool ring out of her in the neck for doing some blues stuff

Well she is done gonna maybe do a video of some original material..OMFG it sounds like a wall of crunchy goodnes. I have been playing for an hour and I feel like I got hit by a freakin wall.
