Re: say hello to my 82 jap strat

No offense, but would it really be considered an '82 Jap strat if the only thing original is the body? More like a parts-o-caster, especially since the neck is un-original too. Nice guitar though

Re: say hello to my 82 jap strat

Lazz, I've got this '89 MIJ. Missing tremelo arm and back cover.
The neck is nice, very fond of the tuners,(quick, accurate)
although tightly spaced.
Know anything about these, I sure don't.

I have an E Series 1985 Jap Strat and it's a beautiful guitar. Yours looks pretty good, did you do the mods yourself?

Re: say hello to my 82 jap strat

yeah i did it all myself.i know its not a looker and the colour for the record is mercedes white, its car paint.it was hank marvin red originally and i wasn't feeling it so off it came.it can never compete with the beautifull guitars some people own here but it has two of the most inportant things, great pickups and a great neck, the rest is just eye candy
