Any thoughs on GFS Neovin pickups?

I've decided to give my Strat some love recently, and I am considering experimenting with different pickups. I have some DiMarzio Virtual pickups in it right now (Blues in the neck, Heavy Blues in the bridge), and while I like the lack of noise, I'm not totally taken by the tone. Harsh high end without the complexity that you expect from a good Strat pickup. Rolling back the tone knob helps, but I'd like to find something more "vintage" sounding (cleaner highs, more transparent overall sound). Lack of noise would be a bonus.

I've heard generally favorable things about GFS pickups, and this seemed like a good opportunity to check out their offerings. I could get a set of their Strat pickups and try them out on the Strat, and at worst I would only be out the cost of a single decent pickup for my LP.

Has anyone had the chance to try their Neovin series pickups? As I said, the lack of noise would be nice, although I'm more interested in a good tone at this point, so if you recommend any of their other pickups I'm all ears. If you'd warn me away from them, I'm all ears as well.
