I'm also a Fender man... :) The Tele bug bit me!

Just got this one today. Can't wait until it shows up next week.

While thinking about Diceman's baby shit, I've decided to name this one baby puke.

That's nice, Tim.

It looks like somethin's finally going to keep those PRS's of yours company.

Thank God!!! Whenever I first started in '96, I thought Tele's were the ugliest thing on earth. Now look... lol

Re: I'm also a Fender man... :) The Tele bug bit me!

That's too damn nice of a color for a Tele! Must be MIA?

I damn near traded my Peavey C30 for an "Avocado" colored partscaster a couple weeks ago (licensed allparts neck, Warmoth body I think...). It was damn close, but I backed out in the end. I think I'd be a fool to get rid of that amp... even though I still can't afford the tubes it needs.

In summary, nice guitar.

It's actually a Mexi. model! I figured that if this one is a good player, I'll graduate into the USA models.

The color is actually sage green, but amongst players, it's called monkey poop.

+1

I think Fenders look good with a solid color, and they do have quite a selection.
Most of them are pretty tasteful too.

Tim did you notice the quality of the tuners?

Tim, I'm with you. I hated Fender for years...until I bought one. That's a sweet looking Tele, congrats. I still think they're ugly as sin, but I dig 'em.

Nice, Tim! I always hated Teles as well - but I love them now. That Ice Blue Metallic is my favorite Fender solid color.

I've got Roman starting a Rist~o~Caster Tele for me - I'm pretty excited!

An Ice Blue Metallic Tele may be in my future as well, though.

Let me know if you decide to sell it.

Congrats on the new axe - I'm sure you're gonna love it!

Well it looks like you have first dibs. I've been curious about Mr. Roman's work myself. Maybe it's time to check him out.

Re: I'm also a Fender man... :) The Tele bug bit me!

LoL I needed some variety in my stable and the Tele fit the bill. The color was also a deciding factor. It's coming with a tweed case that will also give it that vintage feel. This one will get broken in the old fashioned way, though.
