Re: Tremol-No {trem-Lock}

Having almost recovered from 7 hours or so of fruitless work last weekend with a Floyd Rose and a Hipshot Tremsetter, I am thinking about something like this too.

About the Tremsetter - I hate to say it, but I think it has "AVOID" all over it. Achingly unclear instructions do not help. A YouTube vid helped, but following the instructions there just gave me something which didn't work as it should.

I laughed so hard when he cut that string with the wire cutter out of nowhere, lol!

These guys have good installation videos on their site too. These are not as $$ either as I thought

Re: Tremol-No {trem-Lock}

I am starting to give some serious thought to the ESP Arming Adjuster.

Re: Tremol-No {trem-Lock}

Right now I don't have anything other than you standard, run of the mill floating Fender Trem units.

I have owned Floyd Rose units in the past and I like them but they do have some major draw backs as Jimbob pointed out.

I have a friend that turned me on to the "Trem King" he has two of them on guitars and he loves them. This buddy has a lot of guitars and he is a tonefreak. I have heard him play these guitars and the trems work flawlessly and they do stay in tune when you break a string. Something it is merely wishful thinking with a floating trem.

Check out the video and look around the website. They are pretty cool units.

I am going to put one of these in my #1 which is the blue partscaster in my profile pics.
