Finished David Gilmour Strat Now With High Res Pretty Pics
Ok so as I said I would take better pics.
This guitar started as a Squier which it no longer even resembles it. Mods Done Shortened the trem arm to 4" per David's Strat New Single Ply Black Pickguard New Knobs and Pickup Covers New Maple Neck which I ambered, replaced the decals, and clear coated. Stock Squier Hardware If it aint broke dont fix it Stock Squier Body RHFactor Blues Single Coil Pickups Custom Wiring with Neck On Mod with a Push/Pull pot on the volume control CTS Pots with Orange Drop Caps Matching Dimarzio Cliplok Strap |

holy shit thats pretty! i really want to do this some time. im totally jealous! haha so just out of curiosity why did you pick those pickups over say the cs69s? or the seymour duncans?

Great build!
What Squier body did you use? That short trem arm sure looks funky ![]() I'm gonna start a DG strat build too, but I'm using this as a starting platform: ![]() Or a Affinity strat. But those bodies are multiple pieces of wood. This looks like the better option, even tough the neck is big 70s size.
