No sir. That'd be Mexican, if I'm not mistaken.

I have a Mexican 'Nashville' model, and it is a superb guitar!

Re: This tele...

Should be a MIM. Got a buddy who has an older one and it screams.
Typically, if it's American, that's one of the first things they put on the
title at MF or GC. The wood / parts are from US, sent to Mexico for assembly. The electronics are not from the US. I have a MIM Strat, not a
bad guitar at all, but I do need to swap out the electronics.

MIM classic series guitars have the same switchs (CLR) same pots (CTS) as used in the MIA RIs. The classic series necks are MIA and finished in Mexico. The bodies are three piece. The MIM pups sound OK but replacing them with a pup of your choice often does them justice (the guitars that is)
The bodies are finished in polyester ,the necks in urathane. Nitro Vs. Poly do not even try to talk to me about it. Jimi Hendrix played polyester finished strat nuff said.
If you can though go try out different ones; they ,MIA & MIM anything can sound and play different form one another. talkin same models .
