Selling my Burny RLC-60 Black Beauty

Hello from Germany!

I'm finally selling my Burny RLC-60.
I can't find the time to play this beauty.

The guitar is near mint condition. And I really mean near mint.
There are very few scratches up the front and back and only a small dink in the back. Otherwise the guitar is clean. I guess you can see it in the pics.
It is a fully original no parts are exchanged.
It has the L8000 pickups (with green ceramic caps) which give you a nice warm and full sound.
It also has fret edge binding. Frets are in excellent condition.
The neck is straight and is made of very dark rosewood.
According to the Nils-Bro Muller page it must be from 82 to around 87. Hard to tell but the truss rod, the diamond inlay and the L8000 let me come up with this conclusion.
Also with the guitar comes a truss rod cover with "Les Paul Custom" written in it. You can exchange it for the original one if you like.
The guitar is set up by a luthier and is a great player. Strings are new.
I also give my epiphone hard case with the guitar. I know it's epiphone but next to the big G hard case it's the best you can get.
Here's a youtube link with a case review (not me):
YouTube - Epiphone Les Paul Guitar Case Review
*Price for guitar and hardcase is 750.- Euro!!!! (plus shipping)*

I think that's a real fair price. I imported the guitar from japan and had to pay shipping and custom taxes. So I just give it away even. I don't want to make any money out of it.

So if you are interested leave me a note.
Thanks

FS: Melancon Custom Artist S type for Les Paul Lovers

I will be putting on ebay Sunday night a beautiful Melancon Custom Artist S type that I recently purchased. It's serial #912 and the build sheet is below.

This would be a super "strat" for Les Paul fans. Why? Because in my experience Les Paul fans are also connoisseurs of spectacular tops. The guitar is truly beautiful and the Koa Burst top is, as my mom would say, "to die for." It looks carved. If it was a Les Paul it would qualify for AAAA designation. The custom wound Melancon pickups sound great as well. I don't have the specs but I'd guess they have a bit more output than Fralin Hot Blues but I wouldn't call them high output single coils by any means. It's chambered and I'd guess around 7 lbs even. Comes w/ a like new G+G case (pictured).

Because of the promotion that ebay has with Bing (http://www.bing.com), it is often beneficial to buyer and seller to go thru Bing (http://www.bing.com) shopping and ebay rather than a direct sale if the buyer wants to use paypal. The "net cost" to the buyer will be $1725 + shipping (it will be listed at $1875 and there's an 8% discount). I will also sell on a cash deal for $1725 + shipping. Save shipping by picking it up in Central NJ or Manhattan.

The ONLY reason I'm selling is because I'm not a neat person. If I keep this guitar I will eventually, and likely fairly soon, nick up the top. And that would be a big shame. I should have realized that before buying it but it's too late for that.

PM or email me at jimicoltrane@gmail.com if you're interested. I've done lots of deals on TGP and am "nycbiddingfool" on ebay.

*$1600*

Currently looking for a local SoCal cash deal. Not ready to deal with paypal and shipping right now. Not interested in any trades at the moment, except maybe a red ES-339.

This one was made in March, 2009 and was one of the first ones to be shipped when they were released. I bought it from Guitar Center around March or April. Oddly, it came with a Classic truss cover (seems Gibson used whatever was available at first as some of the early ones came with Classic, Standard, Traditional, or blank).

This guitar has seen a few hours of bedroom playing time only and has pretty much spent its life in the case since I bought it. Its condition is as new as anything in a guitar store.

I actually prefer the single pickup (and I prefer gibson's single coil over a p90 or etc, go figure). Sunburst would be great.

I'm looking to tool around with it to let off steam after exams (i'm a student), so its mainly for personal use, not gigs or performance or etc.

Hoping to buy something in $250 to $350 range depending on condition and your kind heart. I live in NYC so something I could check out in person would be even better of course, but I'm up for anything.

thanks.

FS: Gibson Brown Lifton Case (reissue) - $250

Hey everyone,

I need to get rid of this lifton case that came with my 2006 R9. I don't ever use it, and I know a lot of people find these cases desirable as Gibson has stopped making them.

Any way, it's from a 2006 R9 that I purchased from Mark's Guitar loft, and it's in excellent condition. It only really has two or three scuff marks on the exterior which I'm sure can be removed.

I'm asking $250 (FIRM) for the case and we'll split the shipping cost. These cases usually go for $300+ on eBay, so snag this deal while you can! :D (my best used car salesman impression, sorry)

Thanks for looking!

F/S: Fender Custom Shop Relic Olympic white

Okay, I don't usually have as much luck "selling" on here as I do buying and trading. I figured I'd throw this out there briefly before I go to ebay with it. This is an 06 "1960" Custom shop relic. It is in perfect shape (for a relic, and has "RELIC" stamped under the P/G). I had a trade thread about it, but now I'd rather just sell it. Here's a link for the same guitar on ebay with a start out price of over 3K.

2009 Fender Custom Shop 1960 Strat Relic Vintage White - eBay (item 370291836810 end time Nov-26-09 08:27:05 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/2009-Fender-Custom-Shop-1960-Strat-Relic-Vintage-White_W0QQitemZ370291836810QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item56371d078a)

I'm going to start my bidding on ebay at $1800, just to get some attention. I will take $1800 + actual shipping + PayPal for MLPers. This is a really good deal, and firm. I think from looking at completed auctions that it will bring $2400/$2500 on the ebay.

I will throw in the mint pickguard, but it has a different hole configuration and has one "blank" when on the strat (never bothered me though) I have the original pick guard back on.

Here are some picks with the tortoise pick guard.

And back to the tortoise shell, but like I said, I'll send both, so you can choose.

FS: 2001 LP Standard (Raw Power) plus cabs and speakers

OK, cleaning time at the ranch, need to free up some funds and clear out some space, so some stuff has to go. As far as the cabs go, I can ship, but it's at buyer's expense.

* 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard "Raw Power" - Completely stock, near mint example of a very cool Standard model that was only made in 2000-1. Features include stock Grover tuners, a bare maple top (no nitro, hence "raw"), 490R/498T pickups, a Gibson "cali girl" case, all the hang tags and warranty card, etc. On my very unscientific bathroom scale, it comes in around 9.5-9.8 pounds. The neck isn't quite as fat as my R8, but not quite as thin as a '60s. It's very comfortable. Sorry for the lousy pics, but they'll give you a good idea. $1300 shipped and Paypal'd.

Set: 2001 Gibson "Raw Power" Les Paul Standard - a set on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/31016665@N03/sets/72157622711888483/)

* 1970s Sunn 6x12" cabinet - all original, has a spray-painted logo on the side of some long-forgotten former band. The speakers are the original Sunn transducers. Sounds good with guitar or bass, have used it for both. Has the V-shaped baffle, original cloth and black/silver logo (meaning it predates '75 for sure). Rare as hen's teeth, find another one. Easier to manage than an Electric Amp Co. or Emperor 6x12" cab, and it'll cost you less, too. $500.

Cab on the left in this picture:

* 1990s Sunn 2x15" cabinet - all original, a little bit of road wear as it was my band's main gigging cab for a couple of years. 300 watt Celestion-loaded cab from the Fender era. Sounds great and it won't cost you a fortune or break your back. $250.

Image: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2762/4117121965_f9c925eb90.jpg

* 1990s Marshall 1960TV 4x12" cabinet - all original with the coveted British reissue Greenback speakers. 100 watts total load, the speakers are well broken-in and sound great. The cab has some obvious road wear, but it sounds freakin' sweet, why wouldn't it? Don't have to be afraid to take this one out of the house. $500.

Image: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3394/3183058366_a0d6998d00.jpg

* 2x 1980s Celestion G12-65 - 16 ohm. Pretty much my all-time favorite speakers, like a higher-powered Greenback. 1777 cones, handle 65 watts, great hard rock/metal speakers. Marshall-labeled. $135 each/both for $250 shipped.

* 2x 1990s Celestion G12H-30 - 16 ohm. Great speakers with the rare 6402 cones that Jim from Scumback Speakers claims are the best of the post "Pre-Rola" era of Celestion. These handle 30 watts and have great crunch and bottom end. Wanted to put these in a with the 65s in an X-pattern in a cab, but I've got too many cabs as it is, so these are sitting, taking up space at the moment. $135 each/both for $250, or take all four for $450 shipped.

* Gibson Iommi signature humbucker (chrome) - I really love these pickups, have one in the bridge of my Guild S-100 at the moment. This one has been sitting there looking unloved and forlorn for a while. I'll measure how much lead it has left, but it should be plenty. $60 shipped.

* Dunlop DC Brick - power your pedalboard. All the cables are included, has been stuck under my board for a while with no problems whatsoever. Just got a PPII+, so won't be using this anymore. $65 shipped.

May add some more to the list, but let's start here...e-mail is probably easiest and fastes: mikeschull at gmail dot com. Not really interested in any trades at this time. Lots of references on TGP (a couple here, too).

May add some more to the list, but let's start here...e-mail is probably easiest and fastes: mikeschull at gmail dot com. Not really interested in any trades at this time. Lots of references on TGP (a couple here, too).
Next up, a Blackstar HT Series HT-110 40W 1x10 Guitar Extension Cabinet. This speaker cab sounds great. I got two of them with my Blackstar mini-stack and only need one. These cabs are large enough to house a 10" or 12" speaker. This one comes with the stock 10" speaker.
