WTF Is This? Something Ain't Right...

This is an Epiphone ES1275 but I've never seen anything like it.

Either the 12 string neck has never seen a string change because of lazy owner and therefor never been oiled or it's a fake. A bad one.

Someone just replaced the original tailpiece with a Bigsby. I've seen a few of them like that.

I've seen a number of 1275s (from Gibson and Epiphone) with two different colored fretboards. In the case of the Epis, most of the time they just use whatever wood they have laying around, whether it matches or not.

Yeah, but look at the knob position. Plus, a Bigsby? Plus, the stop tail is very far from the bridge, similar to a Page model. Also, three 3 way switches...

Same thing sans Bigsby.

Switches seem fine for me, pickup switch top, pickup switch bottom, master toggle top/botom.

Didn't know that, I've only seen them single colored.

Ok, for the record, I did not know that Epi put out this guitar in this configuration. So I stand corrected and informed. Thanks.

The 1275 is a beast and not practical at all, I've played a few of them both Epi and Gibson and personally wouldn't own one of them.

I'm with you. I played a Page model at Hollywood GC and I did not like it. On the other hand, for just sitting around and jamming at home like I do, this might be tonally interesting.

I'd say about 7-8 Xs out of 10 when you see them online or in pictures/ads, they have been Photoshopped, because of the color differences between the fretboards.

Another thing to take into consideration is that this could be a Custom order, but I seriously doubt it.

They didn't. The Bigsby isn't original/stock.

you'd have to use a tuner if you wanted to be done with it in five minutes or so.
