Help on EPI Serial No.

Hi all,

My friend need a help for her EPI LP Standard Top Plus.
Her serial No. is SI0704808.

I went to The Guitar Dater Project - Epiphone Serial Number Decoder, it doesn't work.
Does it mean her Epi is fake?

It looks good man - I don't think there's anything to worry about. You might email the good people at Gibson to see if they've changed their SN format recently - just email Gibson Customer Service (link on their or Epiphone's website). Beautiful tobacco burst, though!! I love it!

Re: Help on EPI Serial No.

SI is the factory in South Indonesia
usually lp standards are from china EE Serial but they could probably be made in Indonesia as well.
