Legit MIJ Elitist auction?
The auction linked below lists the guitar(s) as "new", but that would essentially mean that it is NOS since, as far as I know, the MIJ "Elitist" model hasn't been in production for a long time.
Epiphone Elitist Les Paul Custom EBONY Guitar NEW - eBay (item 330414350374 end time Apr-14-10 09:52:11 PDT) So, does this auction look legit? And if so, is that a good price?

It's legit. Keep your eyes open...now and then you may run into New Old Stock on Ebay, on crigslist or even at your local store. A few weeks ago I played a 2002 Elite at a highend music store. It was brand new.

700-800 would be a great price.
800-900 good price 1000 seems to be the going price for most places I've seen.
