Re: Identify!

maybe the designer couldnt decide whether he wanted a flying V, an LP junior or a radio and combined them all into one.

Re: Identify!

I think this is either a (failed) prototype or they had a limited production of this (for obvious reasons)

I thought the body looked..ok...but the headstock is really wierd especially with the string retainers.

Re: Identify!

It is modeled after the Gibson Moderne. I think is actually called an Epiphone Mo Baby. They have some reviews of it on Harmony Central.
Epiphone Mo Baby: Harmony Central User Reviews. Pretty ugly.

Re: Identify!

It just needs someone famous to give it that boost to popularity...

OK, maybe not, but it would be great to see a "big name" playing it!

Re: Identify!

Many Epis do...but they are Les Paul Copys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This strange guitar (I think I'm the first to call it a guitar hehe) is one of those that would be cool to have if you were a really wealthy guitar player...just to have 1....LOL

I think I can imagine Billy Gibbons with this one...kinda smilin' and showin' the golden tooth.....
