The Big Post-Your-HB-Pic Thread

Hi there guys,

I'm just new to all off this, and i've been sniffing a bit around on the forums. The thing that strattled me while doing this, was that the same colour of LP's seems to work out differently on every single guitar (like the HoneyBursts of Scooter2112 and Fuelish). I'm currently planning on buying a STD in that colour (or a custom in BLK), but it looks like there might be a nicer colouring on other specific guitars than the one in the shop around the corner.

So, just to get a tiny idea, and if you're willing to help me, could you plz place some pics online of your own Hbs? I think it would help me a great deal,

Many thx,

You've seen it before, but figured I'll toss it up in this thread for comparison .....I keep using the same ol' pic....need new ones

This was taken outdoors (indirect lighting). The outer edges of the burst look slightly darker under indoor lighting, but not real dark at all.....

Re: The Big Post-Your-HB-Pic Thread

Here's my honeyburst in plain top. I once saw a Plain top Honeyburst at Guitar Center with the serial number starting with 'DW' and the color is completely off compared to the other Honeybursts with serial number starting with 'EE'. It looked more like Honeycream burst. Anyways, hope this helps.

Re: The Big Post-Your-HB-Pic Thread

That is crazy that they can even call that honeyburst. I love it, but it is so far off from the others. Like Amberburst or something

Yeah, but then again .... that's the way the honeybursts look in online ad pics (such as at MF, etc)....was kind of glad mine arrived "lighter"

Here is my Epi Honey Burst plaintop, the actual color is similar to the other plaintops upthread.

Mr. Wrong, that is simply one beautiful guitar. I love the wood grain on that top!

Yours and E6type's are my favorite two Plain Honeys so far.

Re: The Big Post-Your-HB-Pic Thread

Thanks guys, it did help alot! It still strikes me that there isn't really a definition for the HB colour. Joseaqui, i think you might have found the key to this mystery!

Re: The Big Post-Your-HB-Pic Thread

I wonder if Joseaqui is on to something here.

My honeyburst (sorry, still no pics) is very similar to E6types and Mr Wrongs, and has a serial # starting with "DW"
